Direct and Wireless Connections  

The Transparent One’s features let you easily connect to virtually any music source. The 3.5mm mini-jack allows direct connection to an MP3 player, Apple iPod®, iPod dock, tablet, TV, or nearly any other device with an analog output using the included cables. The three digital inputs (USB audio, coax, optical) make your music sound even better when directly connected to a Mac®, PC, or other device with digital outputs.

Wireless streaming is supported through your choice of external adapter, so that as wireless standards change, your speakers won’t have to. Most wireless adapters can be set up to use your smartphone or tablet as both a source and/or remote control, making the most of the devices you already have. The options are many, the connections are seamless, and the convenience is addictive.

• Options in the Apple® world include the AirPort Express® and Apple TV®, which support AirPlay® for streaming from iOS devices like the iPod Touch®, iPhone®, and iPad®. Going this route allows you to stream popular internet music sources like Pandora, Spotify, or Rhapsody from your iOS device. This setup also supports Apple’s Remote App for streaming from your computer’s iTunes® library. As an added bonus, the AirPort Express and Apple TV offer optical digital connections for “bit-perfect” replay!

• Logitech® offers both Wi-Fi based Squeezebox® as well as Bluetooth® based adapters for wireless streaming from Android, ®Windows®, UPnP/DLNA equipped servers, and other devices.

• Sonos® offers a great streaming option via dedicated Wi-Fi, with control Apps for most smartphones.
